What helped our family most when we had the plague.... Aka Covid.

Part of why things are taking me a long time to get moving here with the restaurant concept is this #$^&*^%% covid virus that keeps going around. Everyone in our family has had it once now and we've recovered although if I am honest, I still have lingering fatigue from it. Many Folks are asking what has helped our family the most, so I'd like to share what we did.... I really hope if you are reading this and just getting sick or trying to figure out how to manage the long-haul symptoms - please make sure you are getting proper medical care as this blog post is just telling you what we did. I always encourage proper medical care. I also hope you feel better soon.

First - we went to the Evara Health location in the ICOT center for free covid testing. They have a drive through site where you don't have to get out of the car. Their folks are very nice there. We got the results the same day.

Next, we notified everyone we were around that we had covid so they would know to look for symptoms.

Third - We stocked up on Liquid IV and took it once or twice a day to multiply our hydration. You Can find it Here: https://amzn.to/3s7JD7H Watermelon is among my favorite flavors.

Fourth - We went to Docs Outside the Box Holistic Medicine Care St. Petersburg, FL | 727-498-8898 (docsoutsidethebox.us). They do urgent care and have been treating covid successfully since the beginning of the pandemic. They also see children and have been wonderful with mine. They prescribed medicines to help fight the covid, they recommended the Super Meyer IV which they gave me there and a lot of vitamins. They also gave us the antibodies which we found to be very helpful. They also had us nebulizing food grade peroxide and colladial silver.

To clean the nebulizer parts - I have something similar to this to clean, sterilize and dry the parts. This was huge as we have had multiple people needing to use the nebulizer in a day and need the parts sterilized. Same when we had bronchitis a few months later. https://amzn.to/3ITPYKL

Fifth - I found a lovely vitamin guru in Sofia. She is at Vitamin Discounters in Tampa and can be reached at 813-542-5756 Monday through Friday from 8am to 4pm. She can ship all over the US and is a wealth of knowledge. The vitamins we ended up taking were:

Echinacea Extract from Now Vitamins. Its a 2 oz bottle . https://amzn.to/3GkIIWs

Quercetin with Bromelain from Now Vitamins - I bought the 120 count bottle - https://amzn.to/3s2ZZOU

Zinc Picolinate 50 mg from Now Vitamins - https://amzn.to/34bjGMn

Vitamin D3 5000 IU from Now Vitamins - https://amzn.to/35xS2tm

AlliBiotic CF from Now Vitamins - https://amzn.to/3AUPt0i

Vitamin E-400 - https://amzn.to/3rjfIdm

Vitamin C - 1000 - https://amzn.to/3st7D5x

CytoQuel - I purchased this from Docs Outside the Box

I also took Theraflu.

(Please ask your doctor how much you should take of these things or if something else is right for you.)

Outside of this - if you know me, I fight all the germs with food, so we ended up eating a lot of Asian Foods while we were sick. We made homemade Ramen, Chicken Fried Rice, A ridiculous amount of soup and a lot of other goodies. I also drank a lot of tea. This one was among my favorites. https://amzn.to/3L61CUw

Another thing we did was used essential oils. (Yes, I am very oily... ) www.myyl.com/amandaloeffler is my link for the oils... We put them on our feet, back and chest... we used Thieves, Frankincense, Oregano, Eucalyptus Radius, and Fennel. 1-2 drops of each twice a day and then socks on to keep it off the floor.

We also slept a lot. We let the youngest run the house as he had no symptoms. (He was 2.5 years old at the time and deemed Noodles the right thing to eat for all the meals and was telling us what we were watching on tv and when.

Again, I urge getting proper medical care through this adventure. And I hope you feel better soon.

All my best,

Amanda

I have a sad update... I was in a car accident on 3/11/2022 where I was rear ended. I am struggling quite a bit physically after this accident so it will take me a bit longer to open than I would like
